Thursday 1 st
Carnival concert with SoundStart Plus Community band
Community Band and pupils of Grantown Primary School officially launch this year’s festival. Join the procession as they walk from the school to the Square with the main performance in the Square.

Figgat and Swig It.
A fair-trade festival fundraiser sponsored by the Co-operative and featuring music, drama and quiz. Find out about different fair-trade wines, learn about the Figgat Fair from early Grantown characters and enjoy fine music all in the relaxed atmosphere of the Seafield Lodge Hotel. (Why not pop in for dinner or a bar supper first?)

Friday 2 nd
Whisky Wander!
A guided walk to coincide with the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival. Led by Highland Council Ranger Service with drams at strategic view points

Come and admire the classic cars as they arrive in the Square

Storytelling and historic reconstruction
with Lillian Ross, Andrew Mackintosh, and Greg Allen. These three exciting Highland story-tellers lead you through interactive workshops experiencing the basics of story-making, through voice, rhythm, movement and mood

Sunday 4 th
Cunning Running
Open orienteering event in Anagach and Beachan Woods. Courses for a range of abilities – an ideal family event. Make it a leisurely stroll or a competitive run. Maps and compasses available, wear suitable outdoor footwear.
Registration from 10.30am to 1.30pm, Woodlands Industrial Estate, Grantown-on-Spey. (Follow the signs as you enter Grantown from the South - Aviemore)

Girl Guides Car boot Sale and Fete Saturday 10th May
The Guides are organizing a sale to raise funds for their camp.
From 10am-1pm at the Scout hut, Black park Grantown on Spey (near the Golf course).
£5.00 per pitch on arrival, setup at 9am
