Strathspey in May was held for the first time in 2001, making an exciting new addition to the festival calendar with a lively weekend of instrumental workshops, sessions and performances. Players and singers of all abilities came to attend workshops conducted by accomplished local and visiting musicians, and to join in with organised and impromptu performances.
